Weapons Testing as a Source
The amount of tritium in the world from
weapons testing has been steadily
declining since the 1970's when
atmospheric testing was curtailed.
Atmospheric testing from 1945-1975
produced about 8 billion curies. This has
decayed to about 400 million curies.
