4.0 GROUNDING
This section presents general rules for the grounding and bonding of electrical installations.
Qualified workers should clearly understand the concepts of grounding practices as required by the
NEC. They should also clearly understand the definition and intent of the following components of
a grounding system that are explained in this chapter:
1. Grounded conductor
2. Grounding conductor
3. Grounding electrode conductor
4. Bonding jumper
5. Grounding electrode.
