Approval

1. The application for DOE approval will be sent to the Technical Review Committee

for review and comment. Consensus (majority) approval by the Technical Review

Committee will be solicited.

2. Following resolution of comments from the Technical Review Committee, the

DOE "Preparing Activity" will be petitioned for approval of the penetrometer or

test procedure.
