POSITION SPECIFICATION
The Radiological Assessor is the individual responsible for independently evaluating the effectiveness of
implementing the contractor radiological control program, as well as compliance with policies and
procedures.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Baccalaureate in engineering or related science, including formal training in radiation protection.

Acceptable experience for the position [DOE 5480.20A, Chap. II and ANSI/ANS 3.1, 4.3.7]:

DOE radiological activities

Special Requirements:
(1)
These personnel should have the management and supervisory skills described in section B,

These personnel should have 1 year of experience performing quality verification activities in
