Airborne concentrations of substances or levels of physical agents, and represent conditions under which it is believed that nearly all workers may be repeatedly exposed day after day without adverse health effects. TLVs are issued by the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH). [DOE 5480.10A (Draft)] 629. TOTAL EFFECTIVE DOSE EQUIVALENT (TEDE). The sum of the effective dose equivalent (for external exposures) and the committed effective dose equivalent (for internal exposures). Instruction designed to develop or improve job performance. [DOE O 5480.20A] 633. TRAINING IMPLEMENTATION MATRIX. A matrix prepared by the operating organization which defines and describes the application of the selection, qualification, and training requirements of DOE O 5480.20A. A planned, organized sequence of activities designed to prepare individuals to perform their jobs, to meet a specific position or classification need, and to maintain or improve their performance on the job. Any real-time occurrence involving any of the following transportation activities: material classification, packaging, marking, labeling, placarding, shipping paper preparation, loading/unloading, separation/segregation, blocking and bracing, routing, accident reporting, and movement of materials. Transportation events with injury(ies) may also require reporting in accordance with Group 3 criteria. A. OFFSITE TRANSPORTATION EVENT. This event involves movement of materials which are considered to be in commerce, thus requiring compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation Hazardous Materials Regulations. 100 |
