ACKNOWLEDGMENT
The Office of Aviation Management (ME-2.4) and the Office of Management, Budget and
Evaluation/CFO are the Sponsors for the Aviation Manager Qualification Standard. The
Sponsors are responsible for coordinating the development and/or review of the Functional Area
Qualification Standard by subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure that the technical content of
the standard is accurate and adequate for Department-wide application for those involved in
aviation management. The Sponsors, in coordination with the Federal Technical Capability
Panel, are also responsible for ensuring that the Functional Area Qualification Standard is
maintained current.
