3. This standard was developed through a consensus process by staff operating the DOE

Beryllium Worker Registry with expert review by data coordinators who report information

to the registry. It was developed to facilitate the routine collection, analysis, and

dissemination of information on the health effects of occupational exposure to beryllium.
