Workers should report any electrical hazards to their immediate supervisor. The supervisor should
take all corrective actions necessary to address an employee's concerns.
Electrical instructions should be based on a thorough analysis of the job and its hazards. If the same
task is repeated, it may be performed under specific work rules that are based on such analyses.
2.11.2 WORK INSTRUCTIONS
If no specific instruction is available and the job is beyond the scope of written work rules, the
supervisor should issue instructions pertaining to the job to be performed. The instructions should
contain the essential safety rules for the job and, when documented, should be signed by the
employee, a line supervisor and/or safety representative.
