Keep separate from flammables and other organic materials.

Keep separate from reducing agents (i.e., zinc, alkaline metals, formic acid).

Do not store directly on wooden surfaces.

Peroxide formers should be labeled with date received and opened, and should be discarded
as hazardous waste within three to six months of opening. Depending on the chemical,
unopened peroxide performers should be discarded within 12 months of receipt.
6.0
Organic Peroxides
Organic peroxides are a class of compounds that have unusual stability problems.
Oxidizers must be stored in accordance with NFPA 45, Standard on Fire Protection for
Laboratories Using Chemicals and NFPA 432,Code for the Storage of Organic Peroxides.
