Authorized X-ray device operators are
responsible for knowing and following the
operator safety checklist, including:
1.
Wearing a TLD badge.
2.
Knowing the SOP for every
machine operated.
3.
Notifying his/her supervisor of
any unsafe or hazardous work
situations.
4.
Before reaching into the primary
beam, verifying that the beam
shutter is closed or that machine
power is off.
