Enabling
Learning
Suggested Learning Activities:
Objectives
None
Review basic concepts covered in previous training to refamiliarize the
trainee with information contained in the emergency operating procedure
design bases.
30.1-30.3
Have a discussion with an individual that is knowledgeable in transient
and accident analysis with an emphasis on providing the shift supervisor
a thorough, design-based operational understanding of emergency
operating procedures that will enhance their ability to make decisions
during emergencies.
30.4
Use a case study approach with emphasis on situations where deviation
from emergency operating procedures is allowed. Also, discuss the
limitations and problems associated with such a decision. Trainee's
plans may be run in the simulator to illustrate the results.
