9. Apply the operating philosophy of the company to managing the shift.
Enabling Learning Objectives:
9.1
Describe the responsibility and authority of the shift supervisor.
9.2
In a variety of circumstances, advocate the operating philosophy of the facility in
accordance with facility policies and procedures and the operator's code of
professionalism. This may include the following:

Exhibiting composure during abnormal or emergency events

Intervening to restore an operator's composure

Enforcing standards of operating performance
