Take only the necessary tools and equipment into a

2.
Read and comply with all posted instructions.
3.
While in a radiological area, do not touch any
uncovered portions of the body.
4.
Perform work safely and efficiently.

Use time, distance, and shielding.

When possible, maximize distance from higher
radiation areas.

When possible, stay in areas that have lower
contamination levels.
c.
Do not loiter in the area.

Avoid hot spots.

Change outer gloves when instructed by Radiological
Control personnel, or periodically while working with
contaminated or highly contaminated equipment.
7.
Use good housekeeping techniques.

Advise Radiological Control personnel of any unusual
