Federal Participation in the Development and Use of Voluntary

Standards Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-119,

revised 10-27-82, which establishes policies to be followed by

executive branch agencies in working with organizations which

plan, develop, produce, and coordinate voluntary standards,

hereinafter termed non-Government Standards (NGSs). It also

establishes policies to be followed by executive branch

agencies in adopting and using standards for procurement

purposes.
