ACKNOWLEDGMENT

The Office of Nuclear Safeguards and Security Programs is the Sponsor for the Safeguards and Security

Qualification Standard. The Sponsor is responsible for coordinating the development and/or review of the

Functional Area Qualification Standard by subject matter experts to ensure that the technical content is

accurate and adequate for Department -wide application for those involved in the Safeguards and Security

Program. The Sponsor, in coordination with the Federal Technical Capability Panel, is also responsible

for ensuring that the Functional Area Qualification Standard is maintained current.
