C. Personnel monitoring
Simple dosimeters, such as those used in
personal dosimetry and simple survey
instruments, should be calibrated when possible
in radiation fields that are similar to those in
which they will be used. To interpret
measurements made with these instruments, one
must know as much as possible about the
radiation field that is being measured.
