The major criteria that determine which type of investigation will be
conducted
Who has responsibility for appointing each investigation board.

Discuss the qualifications required for acting as a member of an accident
investigation board.
d.
Identify the one qualification that at least one board member must have in order to
have a fully-qualified board.
e.
Discuss who has the authority to grant a waiver for conducting an accident
investigation.
f.
Describe the requirements for publishing lessons learned once an investigation is
completed.
