Training Program is a planned, organized sequence of activities designed to prepare individuals to
perform their jobs, to meet a specific position or classification need, and to maintain or improve their
performance on the job.
Training Setting is the environment in which training is conducted. Examples of training settings
include classroom, laboratory/workshop, on-the-job, simulator, and self-paced instruction.
Training Supervisor is the individual responsible for day-to-day training activities, including
scheduling, assigning, and evaluating instructors.
