| FOREWORD
The table-top process is a method of job analysis in which a team of subject-matter experts-
-job incumbents, engineers, supervisors, and other experts as applicable--and instructional
technologists meets to identify the tasks performed in a specified job position.
The task list serves as the basis for determining the content that should be included in the training
program.
This Facilitator Guide is for use by the Facilitator. The Facilitator is usually an
Instructional Technologist who will be responsible for teaching the lessons during the 1/2-day
training portion of the seminar and for facilitating the actual TTJA process during the
workshop portion. This Facilitator Guide will help the Facilitator conduct a successful TTJA
seminar by providing an overview of TTJA, step-by-step directions, and easy-to-use
checklists needed to prepare for, conduct, and conclude the TTJA seminar.
