ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS. Include

EMERGENCY POWER SYSTEM. The auxiliary power systems that provide power to

safety and security related equipment during periods of partial or total power failure of

EMERGENCY POWER SYSTEM. An independent reserve source of electric energy
that, upon failure or outage of the normal source, automatically provides reliable electric
power within a specified time to critical devices and equipment whose failure to operate
satisfactorily would jeopardize the health and safety of personnel or result in damage to

EMPLOYEE CONCERNS REVIEW PANEL. A panel of DOE employees and

specialized consultants (when appropriate) designated by the Field Office Manager and
selected by the Employee Concerns Manager (ECM) for evaluation of specific concerns

EMPLOYEE EXPOSURE. The exposure of an employee to an airborne contaminant (as
measured in the breathing zone by personal monitoring), hazardous physical agent, or
