Chapter 14 Initial Test Programs

The criteria identified in this chapter address the ini-

tial and preoperational testing of systems, structures, and com-

ponents important to safety at nuclear reactor plant facilities.

This section in an SAR should describe the major phases

of the initial test program and the overall test objectives and

general prerequisites for each major phase.

In addition, it

should describe how the initial test program will be applied and

the organizations that will participate in the development and

execution of the test program.

identified for this section.
