DOE-STD-1008-92, GUIDE TO GOOD PRACTICES FOR TRAINING OF TECHNICAL 
STAFF AND MANAGERS, of July 1991, which provides guidance for the design and 
development of technical staff and managers' initial and continuing training programs. 
This guide will assist in meeting Objective 4, Determination of Training Program Content; 
specifically Criteria 4.2 and 4.3. 
DOE-STD-1009-92, GUIDE TO GOOD PRACTICES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF 
TEST ITEMS, of July 1991, which provides guidance for the systematic development of 
valid and reliable examinations. This guide will assist in meeting Objective 7, Trainee
