The table-top process, when used properly, has proven to be a more
efficient, cost-effective method for developing a task list than traditional
job analysis methods such as survey questionnaire or observation. It is
effective as a stand-alone process and when used in combination with
other job analysis methods such as verification analysis (using another
facility's task list as a basis for your own) and document analysis
(reviewing procedures or other documents to determine tasks). This
TTJA seminar combines the table-top approach with verification analysis
and documentation analysis.
As the Coordinator, your role is to make the necessary pre-seminar
arrangements, such as selecting TTJA team members, gathering job-
related information for use during the seminar, and scheduling the
Coordinator's
seminar meeting room. The Coordinator may or may not act as the
responsibilities
Facilitator of the seminar.
